2022 Mid-Pacific Water Users Conference Is A-Go!

2022 Mid-Pacific Water Users Conference
is a Go!

A message from the MP Water Users Conference Planning Committee

The 2022 Mid-Pacific Water Users Conference – scheduled to kick off next Wednesday, January 19 at the Silver Legacy Resort in Reno – is a go!

We have received confirmed registration from over 150 conference attendees, including our high-profile speakers. Because of the recent wave of COVID-19 omicron infections and due to federal agency safety protocol, we’ll unfortunately see lower numbers of Bureau of Reclamation officials on-site in Reno this year. However, those speakers and panelists who cannot make it to Reno will participate virtually, and there will still be meaningful engagement for those in the audience at the Silverado to interact with ALL speakers.

The health and safety of conference attendees remains our priority. The Silver Legacy and Caesars Entertainment have maintained strict adherence to CDC, state, local and regulatory guidance throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and will continue to do so. That includes mask requirements, where applicable, as well as continued monitoring of the situation, enhanced cleaning procedures, encouragement of frequent hand washing, and sanitizing. This includes all public areas of the hotel and casino, including conference registration and meeting areas.

Please note – there is no “virtual” option for this year’s conference. The events will take place on-site at the Silver Legacy. Some conference speakers and panelists will participate virtually via ZOOM, but there is not a virtual alternative for attendees. The time-honored Q&A sessions after each program panel that spark some of the best audience interaction will continue!

If you have any questions about next week’s program, please do not hesitate to contact jane@agamsi.com.

We look forward to seeing you next week at the Silver Legacy!

Sincerely,

Mid-Pacific Water Users Conference Planning Committee
