to Speak at the Alliance Conference

We are very pleased that two farmers and Members of Congress, Reps. Jim Costa (D-CA) and Dan Newhouse (R-WA), will keynote at next week’s virtual conference.
Representative Jim Costa (D-CA) is serving his 9th term in Congress where he chairs two influential subcommittees on the Agriculture Committee and Natural Resources Committee. He has been a leader on issues impacting Western agriculture. From comprehensive water policy in the WIIN Act to international trade and big improvements to the Farm Bill, Mr. Costa is an ally of our members.
Now in his 4th term in Congress, Rep. Dan Newhouse (R-WA) serves on the powerful Appropriations Committee and recently assumed the helm as chair of the Congressional Western Caucus. Mr. Newhouse has promoted Alliance priorities ranging from Endangered Species Act, WOTUS, Western water, and Farm Bill issues.
