Reclamation Leaders Spotlight Momentum with the Alliance

The November 2025 Special Conference Edition of the Family Farm Alliance Monthly Briefing highlights key takeaways from the 2025 Annual Conference, led by remarks from Interior Assistant Secretary for Water and Science Andrea Travnicek and Acting Bureau of Reclamation Commissioner Scott Cameron. Speaking remotely due to the federal shutdown, both officials emphasized strengthened collaboration with the Alliance and NWRA, pointing to joint efforts to streamline NEPA compliance, improve procurement processes, and accelerate project delivery.

Reclamation leaders from each region (pictured above) reported virtually on major progress toward more efficient environmental review and noted that updated guidance, new funding opportunities, and major investments—including $8 billion in active construction across the West—reflect a renewed commitment to serving agricultural water users more effectively.

Beyond the headline sessions, this special Monthly Briefing covers a broad range of conference highlights.
